Nothing reshaped my view of the world quite like becoming a father.
Not even building businesses.
Not even leaving corporate life.
Not even the hardest moments I’ve lived through.
Fatherhood hit different.
It sharpened my priorities.
Softened my edges.
And made one thing crystal clear:
If I’m going to build—
It needs to mean something.
🧠 Before Fatherhood
I was already building with purpose.
But if I’m honest, some of it was still ego.
Still chasing.
Still proving.
That shifted overnight.
Suddenly, it wasn’t about proving.
It was about providing.
About setting an example.
About becoming the man I’d want my son to become.
👁️ Legacy > Growth
Now, when I look at a business model, I don’t just ask:
• Is it profitable?
• Is it scalable?
I ask:
• Is this worth building?
• Would I be proud to explain this to my son?
• Does this make the world better—even in some small way?
That’s the new KPI.
Impact over vanity.
Long-term over loud.
🛠 What Fatherhood Taught Me About Focus
1. My time is sacred
Every “yes” I give is energy taken from somewhere else.
2. My energy is observed
Kids don’t listen to what you say. They watch how you live.
Calm. Grounded. Present. That’s the work.
3. My standards matter
If I want to raise a kind, strong, conscious human—
I have to be one.
🌱 Building for More Than Me
Everything I’m building now—Moongreens, Ethical Bedding, Origins, Quench, IBWJ—
It’s not just for financial freedom.
It’s for legacy.
I want my son to see:
• What alignment looks like
• What integrity in business feels like
• What it means to build without compromise
🧭 For the Founders with Families
You don’t need to hustle harder.
You need to go deeper.
• Into purpose
• Into structure
• Into how you show up when no one’s watching
That’s where real power lives.
And that’s what lasts.
